SMC Chess Club(The Woodlands Chess Club)

1. We are starting a scholastic division for our younger chess players. Activities will include various type of tournaments that are rated and unrated. Membership club dues will be $10 a month.

2. Lessons and lectures on chess will be presented between 5:30 to 7 pm. These will range from the beginning chess players to the more advanced chess player. There will be something for everyone's interest.

3. Lessons and lectures are open to young scholastic player and adults as well. Lessons will also take place on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 pm and     on Friday from 5:30 to 7pm.

4. Parents of young chess players are encourage to stay and take part in the lessons and lectures so they can improve their own chess game so that they will be able to help their child study and play at home.
