SMC Chess Club Kids!

Meeting Time: 5:30pm-7:00pm

Cost: $10.00 a month membership dues

Various Formats: Blitz- G/5  Standard G/30 Hour long lessons, and analysis.

Meeting Details: Each meeting the chess kid member will play one of the different tournament types, either Blitz or standard time controls.

Once the games are finished we  will go over analysis of a famous chess game or tactical ideas in the form of a lesson. Classical games will be discussed and viewed.

Games will be official tournament rated through the USCF, and Perhaps FIDE eventually.

Some games will be not be officially rated by the USCF depending on the circumstances at the time and the tournament directors discretion.

In that case we will use a local chess club rating sytem.

Members will have the opportunity to win cool prizes and trophies.
